Important Precautions for Waxing & Facial Treatment

To understand what's best for yourself and to protect our own health safety, you are advised to read & understand precautions on the pages for FAQ Waxing and FAQ Facials before receiving any service from Ari Wax & Skin.

COVID -19 Procedures 

In accordance with extended shelter-in-place recommendations to protect our more vulnerable populations, I am not working with clients with compromised immune systems or clients in other elevated at-risk categories at this time.

 

If you are experiencing a fever, cough, or sore throat, please reschedule your appointment for when you are no longer symptomatic.

If you have been to a COVID-19 impacted area or have been in close contact with a person infected with COVID-19, we ask that you please reschedule your appointment for 14 days past the date of contact.

• Fill out Covid 19 Form & Liabilities Waiver + Consent.

• Reschedule in advance if you are not feeling healthy or have been exposed.

• Stay outside before we let you in.

• Wear face covering and sanitize upon entering.

• Check in screening & record your temperature.

• We both sanitize or hand wash before enter treatment room.

• Use a plastic bin for all belongings & to return reusable supplies.

• Contact Tracing : we will close immediately in the event that a therapist or client tests positive for the virus and notify every client who may have been exposed. In return, please notified us immediately if you have symptoms after having been in my studio.

Schedule Appointment 

 

• First, you must fill out the form & consent for each service and credit card required at booking.

• Masks optional, please wear properly.

• Cash & credit cards are accepted - prices are subject to applicable taxes.

• Specials & promotions cannot be combined with any other discounts, offers, or third-party gift certificates.

• 24 hours's notice - Your reservation time is a special time dedicated to YOUR care.  

The following fees will be applied to your card or alternatively billed out to you via Venmo or PayPal: 

• Prepayment to hold your appointment must be received once we schedule you.

• Without confirmation, your spot can be taken by another client in my waiting list.

• Late arrival: will shortened treatment time to ensure our next guest is not delayed. 

• Cancelling or rescheduling less than 24 hours prior to appointment will be charge 50% of the service requested. Charges cannot be used as credit for any future services.

• Repeated rescheduling will be restricted to prepaid.

In The Treatment Room 

1. For liability reasons, no one other than the person receiving treatment is permitted in the treatment room except as noted below. 

2. Due to the potentially hazardous chemicals and expensive equipment in the clinic, please make other arrangements for your children on appointment days. Ari Wax & Skin reserves the right to cancel your appointment and charge you for the booking if you fail to abide by this - NO Exceptions! Ari Wax & Skin will not be held accountable for injury or accidents to, or caused by, unsupervised children.

3. Clients between 12 to 18 years old must present written permission from their parents or guardian prior to their first waxing or facial service. Clients under 15 years old must have a parent or guardian present at all times. No brazilian waxing will be performed on a minor under the age of 18.

4. You may be asked to remove jewelry for some treatments and Ari Wax & Skin does not assume liability for lost personal items. To be safe, please leave jewelry at home

Health Conditions

Please advise Ari Wax & Skin of any special health conditions on scheduling your appointment as this may affect your selected treatment(s). If you have high or low blood pressure, heart conditions, pregnancy, hypertension, cancer, allergies, skin rash, or any health conditions, I advise you to consult your doctor before your treatment and present me with a doctor’s note of approval. I have the right to refuse service due to contraindicated health conditions.

Illnesses, Cold Sores, Sunburns etc

Ari Wax & Skin recognizes that both estheticians and clients are vulnerable to infections and therefore ask clients to cancel appointments when they are feeling unwell.  If you have any of the following contagious illnesses your treatments will be rescheduled: Diarrhea, Vomiting, Fever, Chicken Pox, Shingles, Measles, Mumps, Meningitis, Hepatitis A, Conjunctivitis, Cold Sores, Rubella, Head Lice, Impetigo, Influenza, Meningococcal Disease, Polio, Ringworm of the body, feet or scalp, Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease, Scabies, Sore Throat, Thrush, Whooping cough and the common cold.

1. Ari Wax & Skin reserves the right to modify, discontinue, or raise prices on certain treatments without prior notification to ensure that maximum standards of service and quality are met.

2. Returns of unopened and unused product can receive a full refund within 10 days of purchase with original receipt. Sale items are final sale.

3. Packages are prepaid and have expiration dates based on date of purchase and have specific conditions.

4. Specials & Promotions cannot be combined with any other discounts, offers, or third-party gift certificates.

• May reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for inappropriate behavior, illness listed as contraindications for services or as deemed necessary. The client also has the right to stop the treatments at any time.

• Assumes no responsibility for any disclosed or undisclosed illness or personal injury. 

• Has the right to cancel or reschedule or to change your service without notice. ​
